About Me: Claire Latham

I believe in the power of connection - the kind that eases loneliness, offers understanding, gives us a voice, and helps us stand in our own strength.

When life feels uncertain, I’ve found it helps to count the wins, however small, and take things one step at a time. Much like stepping stones, each one is a quiet act of courage, a moment of resilience, and a sign of growth.


My aim is to support you in supporting yourself. My main approach is Person-Centred, which means I’ll meet you with warmth, respect, and trust in your ability to grow at your own pace, and in your own way. As an integrative counsellor, I also draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in a way that feels attuned to your needs.


Alongside my private practice, I also work with BetterHelp, supporting a wider community with the same validating approach. Whether online or in person, my aim is always the same: to offer a space that feels safe, steady, and grounded in trust.


I’m a counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Loss doesn’t always arrive in obvious ways. It might be the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, changes in health, career, lifestyle, or even a quiet disconnection from yourself.


These moments can feel disorienting and isolating, as if the familiar landscape of life has shifted and the path ahead is unclear. It’s entirely human to feel overwhelmed or alone during times like these, but you don’t have to navigate them without support.


You may also be facing other challenges, a current difficulty, a long-standing concern, or simply a sense that something doesn’t feel right.
